Disabling themes (renaming) via FTP or File Manager
In some cases, themes can cause conflicts (with plugins, PHP versions etc.) and crash your site, leaving you with a blank white screen on any page and no way of accessing anything on the site.
Luckily, there is an easy method to disable the currently active theme (if you are sure that the theme specifically causes the website crash).
Access your website files via a FTP client or File Manager interface.
Once you are in your website root directory, go to wp-content/themes/
This directory lists all installed themes on the website.
Right-click the active theme, click on rename and rename the theme to any other name:
Once that is done, the website should be available for debugging conflicts. Good luck!
